FAQ
You’ll find answers to many frequently asked questions listed below.
What is your
philosophy?
The developmental needs and interests of children form the foundation of our program. We are committed to providing an atmosphere where your child can explore and develop his individual abilities. We strive to provide a program that will help children develop habits of observation, questioning and listening. We offer a variety of ‘hands-on’ experiences in which children will learn by doing. Process is always valued above product.
God, in His infinite wisdom, created children and gifted them uniquely. We believe that we honor Him by respecting and nurturing each child’s development in their own time. It is our desire to provide a caring, attentive environment, where children flourish.
Tell me about your
staff.
Our well-qualified staff meets or exceeds the requirements set by the State Department of Social Services. As Christian early childhood educators, we will continue learning and growing in our relationship with Christ and others so that we may nurture a peaceful environment, surrounding the children with understanding, patience, warmth and giving. All staff are certified in pediatric CPR and first aid, trained in universal precautions, fingerprinted and have both criminal background and child abuse index clearances.
Tell me about your
curriculum.
Many times we hear parents say, “I want my child to learn things, not just play.” Or they ask, “Do you teach them letters here or do they just play?” Before learning can take place, “pre” skills should be provided such as pre-math, literacy and language as well as a strong foundation in social and emotional skills. We offer a curriculum that meets each child’s level of development, and provide materials, equipment and an environment that encourages constant opportunity for “learning” through “play.”
