Sunrise Community Church is known as a healing church – an oasis for the soul. Recovery ministries are an outgrowth of the needs in the church and our community. Too many people are in bondage to life-controlling issues and lack hope, help and encouragement.

For freedom [sobriety] Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery [addiction]. Galatians 5:1

Our recovery ministries are Christ-centered and grounded in biblical truth. We emphasize a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, an intimate relationship with Him and transformation that comes from the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2)

Our ministries don’t change lives, but we point you to the One who wants to change your life for His glory. You cannot find God’s best in isolation; we need each other to grow spiritually and emotionally.
